Criminal law on corruption

The focus of accusations of corruption is still on the classic bribery offences under sections 331 ff of the Criminal Code (StGB), which usually concern accusations of payments to public officials in order to obtain state contracts.

With Section 299 of the Criminal Code (bribery in commercial transactions), however, criminal corruption proceedings are also increasingly found in the private sector.

In addition to civil servants and employees of the state and municipalities, those affected are mostly executives, managing directors, board members and supervisory board members of companies in the private sector.

I represent those affected by allegations of corruption and am also available to companies for prevention advice, which has gained particular weight in the area of corruption.
